When it comes to the use of lifeline systems, the correct accessories play a critical role in ensuring people are protected while working at height. Our systems are used in conjunction with full-body harnesses, shock absorbing lanyard, fall arrest blocks, slide chuck rope grabs and carabiner hooks.

Full body harnesses
A full body harness protect workers from falls by distributing the force of the fall over a large area of the body. It is designed to minimize the risk of injuries caused by suspension.

Shock absorbing lanyards
These lanyards attach a worker’s safety harness to an anchor point or life line on a building or structure to stop the worker from free-falling should a fall occur. The shock absorber activates when arresting the fall, reducing the fall arrest forces on the body.

Fall arrest blocks
The fall arrest block is a retractable anchorage line that connects the full body harness to an anchor point or life line. An internal braking mechanism locks the anchorage line in the event of a fall.

Slide chuck rope grabs and Carabiner hooks
The rope grab is a fall arrestor designed to move up or down a lifeline suspended form a fixed overhead or horizontal anchorage point, or lifeline, to which a full body harness is attached. In the event of a fall, the rope grab seizes on the lifeline rope through compression to arrest the fall. The carabiner hook connects the components of a fall arret system.
